Mourinho Urged United not to sign Ronaldo

Football News: According to Mirror, Jose Mourinho urged Manchester United Hierarchy not to go for Cristiano Ronaldo in this season.

The Special one believes that Ronaldo was overpriced.

This season the 33-year-old left Madrid after his nine years of the stint and joined the Serie A giants Juventus for £90million ($130m), though it was a shock move for the football world, before hem, Manchester United were also there to bucket him from Madrid but Mourinho did not want him back at United.

Earlier both of them worked together in Madrid, and they know each one of them very well, but for this season Mourinho does not want to have him on his team as he thought he was overpriced at this stage.

The Manchester United head honcho thought it would be a waste to spend that mammoth amount of money on him as in place of that United can chase some high profile defensive signings.
