I-League: The club is expected to sign Haroon Amiri for the next session



Haroon was the team member of DSK Shivajians in the 2015-16 session of I-League. The Afghanistan captain is anticipated to sign the Federation Cup champions, Mohun Bagan. The club is willing to land the player as they are unable to land Daniel Seaborne. Mohun Baan is looking forward to make their club stronger as they are currently playing in Calcutta Football Legue (CFL).  

Amiri started his practice session from Tuesday morning and he is to be taken care by coach Shankarlal Chakraborty and fitness trainer Djair Miranda Garcia before the club’s upcoming matches. 

"Yes, Amiri has joined us and started to train. We are hopeful to register him soon to play in the CFL. We don't know which match or when will he first play but the situation will be monitored by the coach and the fitness trainer," said by an official to GOAL.

The 23-year-old was a man for Pune based DSK Shivajians in the last season of I-League and is considered to be a marvelous player, spent quality time under big banners like Dempo SC, FC Goa and Mumbai FC where as, his expected team played three matches and turned out to be the winners of each. Their next appearance will be against  Bhowanipore SC on 18th August, 2016.
