MIGUEL IS HAPPY WITH FC PUNE CITY’S HOME PERFORMANCE

The Stallions has register their first home soil point of the Indian Super League season 3 editions against Kerala Blasters FC.

The match was held at   Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex stadium on Monday that’s why their assistant coach Miguel is very happy about them.

In their previous home games they lost their match against Mumbai City FC and NorthEast United FC, in today’s game the away side took the advantage Cedric Hengbart scored the first goal for the away side and then their new marquee player Mohamed Sissoko netted a goal for the home side in the 68th minute and rescued the Stallions, they manage to earn one point form the match.

In the conference Miguel said-

“We are on the way to improving. At least today we didn't lose, we drew. I think we played much better and we deserved to win. We will improve and we will work harder for our next game.”

“We are very happy with the performance. We think the players fought hard, showed lots of commitment and tried to win the game.”

This season FC Pune City has purchased s Spanish midfielder Pitu, who got injured during the warm up match, he said that:

“He got injured during the warm-up. Tomorrow, he will go for an MRI scan so we will know tomorrow [as to what is the situation]. But we made a straight change with Bruno (Arias), so we didn't have to change the formation or tactics at all.”

FC Pune City is now sitting on the seventh position on the table, and in their next match they will face the defending champions Chennaiyin FC on October 23.
