The 23 year old Portuguese international says that sometimes he fell amazed by argentine invension, but he refused to talk about Messi vs. Ronaldo debate.

The Portuguese midfielder has been left be stupefied at the genius of Lionel Messi since he joined the Catalan side from Valencia this transfer window, because of the 29 year olds ability to think up something new every day.

Barcelona singed the midfielder form Valencia in late stage of transfer window and a figure which could reportedly reach 55m.

The 23 year old addressing his tendency to spawn the grim in training, and sometimes he is just got stunned .

"Everyone knows that Messi is very, very good," he told L'Esportiu de Catalunya. 

"He does things in games that you cannot explain; he just knows different things and can do it. 

"In training it is a show, because every day he can invent something new. 

"You think you're used to it, but there is always one day you go to the dressing room surprised by something he has done."

Gomes is now playing for Barcelona and for Portugal where closely he can  see the two superstars.

And he refused to skim to into the debate who is better Ronaldo or Messi? Though he thinks both are the best players in the world right now.

"I think they are different players, the two best players in the world in recent years," he added. "I do not like to say which one I think is better. 

"What I like to say now is that I'm the only player who has Messi and Cristiano as team-mates and I enjoy playing with both."
