AS Monaco FC’s starlet Fábio Henrique Tavares, commonly known as Fabinho could have taken a very different career path with the Spanish giant Real Madrid, but rejected the bright lights of Real Madrid at an early age by electing to continue his future with the France side club AS Monaco FC.
As recently the 23-year-old defender Fabinho said in an interview with GOAL,
“It was my first season as a pro. At first it was hard because the championship is completely different,”
“I learned the language and it became better. It was a good experience – I could have stayed with Castilla [Real Madrid B team]. I do not know if it was too early or not but I wanted to leave for Monaco.” He added.
The Brazil international Fabinho, who has more than 100 appearances with 10 goals for the League one side club AS Monaco FC and also has caps for his country and considered as one of the Europe’s most promising full-backs.
And according to the previous report the Premier League giant Manchester United are interested to sign the young Brazilian defender, but Fabinho is focused solely on Monaco’s challenge for the French league title.
As Fabinho admitted,
“There was something with Manchester [United], I think there was an interest but nothing concrete,”
“I am settled in Monaco, we have made a good start to the season and I am focused on them." He concluded.
