Mbappe is better than Ronaldo: De Vrij

Football News: The Inter Milan defender got amazed to see the five times Ballon d’Or winner at Serie A but he also believes that he is not the best that he has faced.

De Vrij criticised the former Madrid man with a positive impact on Serie A.

This season the Portuguese superstar has joined Juventus, after his successful nine-year stint with Madrid, with whom he has won four champions league trophy and out of the three back to back wins.

Many believe that the signing of the Portuguese star man is the final piece of the puzzle for Juve to end their 22-year trophy drought in Europe.

In this new season, the 33-year-old‘s start in new league Serie A has been a little slow as in is first three games he has not scored any single goal for the Old Lady side, though the Dutch international De Vrij has no doubt about the impact of the five times Ballon d’Or winner.

He voiced: "I confess, at first I did not believe he was coming to Italy,"

"But when they [the media] kept saying it, then I started to take note. For Italian football, his arrival in Serie A was positive because it gives a great boost to the whole competition.

"I played against him with the national team in a friendly against Portugal before the 2014 World Cup. It finished 1-1 and he scored on a corner."

He thinks the 33-year-old did not have that impact on him what the other attacker has created on him who is currently taking the world by storm the French wonderkid Mbappe.
