Lyon defender who has played against the PSG man in their domestic league admits that he has a tougher time against the French wonderkid than the Argentine talisman against whom he played in the Champions league.

Marcelo believes it’s difficult to play against Mbappe than Messi.

The Brazilian center back of Lyon Marcelo admits that he has faced a harder time to play against the PSG man Kylian Mbappe than the Barcelona ace lionel Messi.

Recently Lyon faced Barcelona in the round of 16 matches, where the match ended as a 0-0 draw ahead of the second leg at Camp Nou on March 13th.

In that match it was Lyon who came close to securing a lead against Barcelona, thanks to Barca shot stopper Marc Andre Ter Stegen having to be at full stretch to save the shot of Martin Terrier.

However after the end of the match the shorelines stay the same but Marcelo insists that on that day the Barcelona magician had a relatively quite game against them, he has given harder test against Mbappe.

This season Lyon has encountered PSG twice and they are the only one side who managed to collect all the three points from the French capital side in their second encounter where they claimed a 2-1 victory over them.

“I think there is a great possibility that he will soon become the best in the world. There are some points that he needs to improve to be compared to Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, but he is evolving very fast.”
