Matic signs news three years deal with the Red Devils

The Serbian international Nemanja Matic signed a three-year contract with Manchester United which extends his contracts till 2023.

In the month of January, the Defensive Midfielders career seems to be over at Old Trafford as he was searching for some other options, but he forces his way back in the starting line with a couple of outstanding performances for the Red Devils.

After signing the new contract, the superstar said:

“I am very happy that I will continue to be part of this great club,”

“As a player, I still have a lot more to give and achieve in my career and to do that with Manchester United will be a huge honour.”

“This is a really exciting team to be part of, we have a good balance of youth and experience within the squad and there is great comradery amongst the group.

“This is a key part of the season and we are playing well. We will continue to fight to finish the season on a high and make our amazing supporters proud.”

The Serbian has been a key figure for Manchester United since the restart of the Premier League, coming off the bench against Tottenham to starting all the last three games for Manchester United.

In 2017 Matic joined Manchester United from Chelsea, and since now he has been featured in 114 games and scored four goals for them.
