MANUEL NEUER: “FOR ME (BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER) WAS ONE OF THE BEST MIDFIELDERS IN THE WORLD AND STILL IS”

Manuel Neuer, German’s No.1 believes that Bastian Schweinsteiger's is still one of the top midfielder in the world currently.

 

The 32-year-old German star who recently retired from International football last month, but could not make it to Manchester United’s first team and now training with the under-21s since Jose Mourinho took over as manager. As the midfielder is nowhere in the plans of the new appointed head of Manchester United Jose Mourinho,

And in his earlier interview, the United’s new boss has already expressed the Bastian Schweinsteiger’s situation at the club,

He said, “What is happening is what is happening in every club in the world. The manager decides his squad and chooses a certain number of players to face the season."

Recently, Manuel Neuer has expressed his feeling about the situation of Bastian Schweinsteiger at Manchester United under Jose Mourinho. And clamming Schweinsteiger has still got it and he remains one of the top midfield man in the game of football.

On Wednesday, Schweinsteiger replied to his fan on twitter, he has no plan to leave Manchester United and he is ready to serve for the club whenever he will be required. 

"It's very bitter and sad," Neuer told reporters. "We know how important Bastian was for all his teams, no matter if it was Bayern or the national team.

"For me he was one of the best midfielders in the world and still is. So it's sad that the football world can't see him right now."

"Basically he already gives us more freedom," he said. "He knows that we have world-class players in our ranks, he can trust us and it shows.

"He is very relaxed around us and knows, of course, that we have different characters and so deals differently with each of us."

The newly appointed manager Carlo Ancelotti is doing well with the team, and his playing & management style is being appreciated by Neuer and other Bayern players.
