According to the sun Manchester United are hesitant to sell the De Gea at what would be a discount that they are willing to let him leave next year as a free agent.
The Spanish international is tied up with United until the end of next year and he is no closer to agreeing to new deal with the Red Devils,amid the speculations that the Spanish capital side would happily bring him to Spain.
If De Gea leaves United after the end of this season then also United can make some profit from it, the risk that the EPL giants are waiting is that De Gea could leave them for nothing if he leaves after the end of next season.
One more reason has come up for De Gea not to go for a new contract with United as the Spaniard is asking £400,000 to stay with them which is double of his current wage.
