Manchester United news says in the recent years David De Gea has shown his consistency under the bars for the Manchester United, and with his recent form carrying him to the top of the game.

According to the Manchester United’s Ashley Young, David De Gea is the best goalkeeper in the world.

For the past few years he has shown his consistency and for that, he has received three players of the year awards.

About the 26-year-old Ashley Young said: "I don't think there is [anyone better].

"I said a few seasons ago I thought he could be the world number one and I think he's shown that he is now."

David De Gea has shown his class in Manchester United’s  last EPL match against the Liverpool, where he stooped a brilliant shot from Matip and maintained the score line 0-0, and helped his team to earn an away point from Anfield.

After their Liverpool match, Manchester United side faced some criticism for being too defensive against the Liverpool but the Manchester United news says that Ashley young says that on that match they paid some attention to the detractors.

The Manchester United man added: "We don't listen to it.

"It's one of those things – people will try and criticise you when you're doing well. I'm sure we will look back on it at the end of the season and say it's a very good point for us.

"It's a hostile atmosphere and always tough when you go there and if you can get a win then great, but if you can't do that then you go there to make sure you don't lose. We defended as a team and came away with a good point."
