Football News: The special one has downplayed the importance of the upcoming Manchester Derby, and asks the critics to have a look at this team’s performance and how they improved themselves from the last season.
Manchester United News: Mourinho believes that Manchester United deserve to be in the second spot.
Red Devils manager believes that his side deserves the second spot in the EPL table and thinks the detractors have been too quick to praise about their city rivals.
In their last match, Manchester United won their match against Swansea City by 2-0 goals and that put them again in the second spot of the EPL table, and now they are two points clearer than the third-placed Liverpool who has played one extra game than United.
In the upcoming derby if Manchester City managed to defeat United then they will win the EPL silverware this season, but after sir Ferguson’s era, this will be the first time when Manchester United will finish at the second position on the table.
Mourinho believes that their position in the EPL proves that this season they have been a better side than Liverpool, Tottenham, and Chelsea.
About their Manchester derby next week, Mourinho voiced: "Manchester City is not important for me. What is important for me is, since the moment we left first position and went to second, we stayed there for the whole of the season. We deserve to finish second, despite what you say, the criticisms you want to make.
"You all say third, fourth, fifth, sixth are better than us but they are not better than us because we have more points than them. We are going to fight every match, we are going to fight to finish second."
In their last game against Swansea Mourinho recalled the French international Pogba in the team, after Pogba had been left out for them in tier previous three encounters.
Who’s happy with our win today? â˜ðŸ¾

Mourinho is happy with Pogba’s performance but believes his form dipped in the second along with the team.
Mourinho said: "I think he played like the team,"
"The team played very well in the first half, he played very well in the first half; the team went a little bit down in the second half and Paul also went a little bit down, but he played 90 minutes in Russia [for France] and it's normal to go a little bit down with the rest of the players.
"But very important for us is the three points. We have I think 10 more points than last season, we have more goals, fewer conceded, we are going to try to finish second, so the season is not as bad as you try [to make it]."
