Pep Guardiola has identified the young midfielder as a ideal successor of Fernandinho in the heart of Manchester City midfield and they are ready to pay big for the 22 year old.
For this upcoming transfer window, Manchester City has identified Atletico Madrid’s Rodri to bolster their midfield option.
Guardiola believes the 22 year old would be the perfect candidate to strengthen their midfielder and they are willing to break their bank accounts pay his buy out clause which is €70 million.
Along with Manchester City other Europe’s elite clubs are also after the 22 year old, but City is determined to add him to their ranks after missing out many players in the last year.
