Madrid aren’t as good without Ronaldo: Messi

Football News: The Barcelona man reveals that the departure of Ronaldo made his life easy at La liga and also believes this season the Italian club Juventus are favourites to claim the Champions league.

Messi fells Madrid is not that good without his eternal rival.

According to Lionel Messi Real Madrid is less favourite this season because of the exit of Ronaldo,but admits that this season Juventus can be the team to beat in Champions league.

For the last nine seasons both the Iconic figures were locked their horns with an eternal rivals in La Liga, Now the Barcelona man finds himself in a free for long run space in La Liga, now Messi can make his monopoly in the Spanish top flight.

Messi fells now Barcelona will have the advantage over Madrid in the El Clasico and Madrid is not the same force once they were but also thinks the battle of European glory will be much harder and it could be disrupted by the Old Lady side.

The Barcelona captain voiced: “Real Madrid are one of the best teams in the world and they have a great squad [but] it's evident that the absence of Ronaldo makes them less good and makes Juventus [one of the] clear favourites to win the Champions League.”

On the departure of Ronaldo, he added: “It surprised me [when he left].

“I didn't imagine him leaving Madrid or joining Juventus. There were a lot of teams that wanted him. It surprised me, but he has gone to a very good team.”

While he was bit surprised to see Ronaldo’s departure, but at the same time this season he is happy with the players whom Barcelona rope in from the Transfer window.

Arthur, Clement Lenglet, Malcom and Arturo Vidal joined the Catalan giants this season and all of them raised the collective quality.
