Manchester United fans are expecting that in this upcoming season Lukaku can fulfill the spot of Ibrahimovic in the attacking zone but Lukaku said he will take on the position in his style.
The 24-year-old Belgium international Romelu Lukaku avouched that he admires Zlatan Ibrahimovic but he warned that he is not like him, and he has his own style of play.
Lukaku has undergone a medical with the Manchester United side and he is on his way to complete the move to Manchester United, after the Red Devils agreed with the Everton side £75 million fee for him.
This season Manchester United will miss the service of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and in place of him, they will be counting on the Belgium striker.
Last season Lukaku displayed some scintillating football for the Everton side, last season he was topping the list of the highest goal scorer in the EPL.
Last season he scored 25 goals for the Everton side in his 37 appearances for them and he is confident in this new season with Manchester United he can replicate his previous season form.
He voiced: "He did a wonderful job for the club,"
"He was the main guy at Manchester United, and he's a guy I really look up to and who I learn from a lot because we share the same agent. Here and there he sends a bit of advice to me, and it helps me improve.
"But I'm Romelu Lukaku – I'm not Zlatan Ibrahimovic. I will fill up the striker position in my way, but I know I have to work really hard and deliver more than I've done before."
