 Liverpool may be leading the premier league,but the German’s No 1 believes they can be beaten when both the team will clash in the Champions league.

Neuer is confident about Liverpool clash.

The Bayern Munich No.1 is confident that his Bayern will edge past Liverpool in the Champions league round of 16 and they are Vulnerable.

The European giants paired against each other in the Champions league round of 16 draw on Monday and both the rounds of 16 will be played in the month of February and March.

Liverpool is still expected to stay in the top of their domestic table when the games comes around and recently they moved back to the zenith position in the table after their comfortable win against Manchester United by 3-1 goals in the last Sunday.

And while on the other hand Bayern Munich may close the nine points gap with the top placed Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

Irrespective of their different domestic seasons till now, the Bayern goalkeeper is optimistic about the clash against the Reds.

Recently in the club’s website he voiced: “They’re having a very good season and we know they were in the Champions League final last year.

“They certainly won’t be delighted with the draw,either.

“They can counter quickly and they’re dangerous in front of goal, but they’re also vulnerable, as we’ve seen, and they’ll be up against a good Bayern attack.

“It’ll be a great game both at Liverpool and also at home at the Allianz Arena.”

At this stage the German giants are under pressure and he did not rate his team’s chance more than 50-50 against the English side.

The Bayern manager said: “We can all look forward to such a great game. It’s the toughest draw we could’ve been given. Liverpool got to the final last year, they’re top of the Premier League and one of the favourites for the Champions League.

“We’re Bayern Munich, though, and I’m sure Liverpool know they’ve got to come here to Munich for the second leg. The chances are50-50. We’ll see what happens. I’m very confident we’ll get through.”
