The 24 year old Manchester United player Jesse Lingard reveals that all the young players at Manchester United strive to copy the achievements of Wayne Rooney.
The 24 year old Youngster of Manchester United thinks that their captain Wayne Rooney is a perfect role model for the younger players.
Last Saturday the 31 year old English man scored a wonderful free kick against their counterpart Stock City and with that goal he become the club’s all time greatest goal scorer.
The 31 year old joined the Red Devils side back in 2004 under Sir Alex Ferguson and he achieve all the success in Manchester United in his career and he will be in the pitch today as an all time highest goal scorer in the pitch for Manchester United against Wigan Athletic in the fourth round of the FA cup.
The 24 year old Manchester United attacker says in the official website of the club: "The achievement is unbelievable. The lads in the changing room look up to Wayne and he's a great role model for the younger kids coming through. He sets a great example and we always look to follow him.
"His leadership [stands out]. He's great with the young lads, especially when you're coming through. He's really helped me, Marcus [Rashford] and Tim [Fosu-Mensah] – we all look up to him and aspire to be like him.
"I've seen that at England level, too. The first couple of times I joined up, he was always there and included me with the other lads."
