The India international and former FC Pune City’s central midfielder Lenny Rodrigues, who is currently playing for the, I league champions Bengaluru FC found the target with a header in the 17th minute as Albert Roca secured his first away win in charge of the club. The result carried the defending champions to fourth place with 16 points from 11 games.
Bengaluru FC’s injured man John Johnson is back to the team, while Serbian striker Marjan Jugovic, signed last week, made his debut for the defending champions. Now Albert Roca’s side Bengaluru FC will travel down south to Chennai next while Minerva will host Shillong Lajong in the next 48 hours.
