KOSCIELNY: I DO NOT KNOW IF IT WAS HANDBALL

The 31 year old French defender heaps the ball in the process of scoring the Gunners controversial winner at Turf Moor, and says it was important for them to win their last league match before the international break.

Laurent Koscielny asserted that he doesn’t know that if it was a handball or not, but it was a controversial goal for them, and they managed to win the match by 1-0 against Burnley on Sunday.

Burnley put a gratified fight against them at Turf Moor, and they look prescript to secure a commendable point before the French international heap the ball over the line in the dying minute of the second half.

The 31 year old defender was not sure which part of his body the touch came from.

"I don't know if it was handball. I tried with my right foot and I don't know if I touch it with my hand," he told."The referee gave the goal and you need to respect the decision.

"It was a hard game. We had the chance to score but we have to push ourselves on the pitch and it arrived at the end. It keeps our run going. 

"We wanted to finish before the international break with a win. It's important to keep our feet on the ground. 

"You could see against Burnley they played well. We needed to push ourselves more and more and in football the aim is to win and keep the quality of our football at the same time."
