Mario Suarez thinks that Koke is more complete player than Xavi,ab belives he haseven more to his game than the retier Catalan legend.
The current Valencia player was a team mate of the Spanish midfielder at Vicente Calderon, and he believes that the former Atletico Madrid team mate Koke is a more complete player than the retire legend.
Suarez will face his former team mates in this July, and for the first time he will be head to head with Atlectio, since leaving the club in 2015 July. This Sunday Valencia will host the Diego simeone’s men at Mestalla Stadium, and the contest will have him facing off against a lot of acquainted faces.
Although Suarez has known the Spanish winger since they are both boys and they were at Atletico, now the 29 year old midfielder {Suarez},believes that koke is on the verge to became one of the world’s prime players.
He told Marca: "To me, when compared with Xavi – saving the different eras – Koke seems much more complete. He can play out wide, in the middle, as a playmaker.
"He has work rate, quality, flair and spectacular set pieces, and he is 24 years old.
"He has everything to be one of the best players in the world."
Suarez also spoke highly about Atletico as a hole and he feels that they are the best example for Valencia, and he also said that Valencia should be looking to upset the big boys “Barcelona and Real Madrid”.
"Stability on the bench of a club is a basic need," he added. "But you have to take short steps and train with intensity.
"That's what gives you the results. When you don't change everything and things are going well, everyone is valued, you have better contracts in the team, no one wants to go.
