The 25-year-old midfielder reveals that he wanted to join the Marseille in 2015 and he may never be started for the Premier league.

The 25-year-old Blues midfielder N'Golo Kanté reveals that he wanted to move to the French giants Marseille from Caen instead of heading to the Leicester City.

And on his first season in the Premier league title with the Leicester City and this season he is with the Blues side where he is on the track to repeat the history.

But the French midfielder says he and he thought of joining to Marseille and think that that switch may have been better for him.

Kante said: "Among the clubs that most wanted to recruit me were Marseille and Leicester,"

"I thought I had to go through a stage in France. I remember the generation of [Mamadou] Niang, [Franck] Ribery and [Samir] Nasri and it was a team that I liked, especially in the Champions League."

And this season he is one of the candidates to win the PFA awards,
But the 25-year-old thinks that he there is others player are there on his team who are worthy of that prize.

He said: "There are quite a few players in the Premier League who deserve this award,"

"There is [Eden] Hazard, Diego Costa and David Luiz on my team."

The Blues are sitting 10 points atop on the Premier league table,  they will play their next match against Crystal Palace.
