Juventus seals €90million move for Gonzalo Higuaín from Napoli

Gonzalo Higuaín has completed his switch to Juventus after the Italian giants triggered his release clause of €90million.

    
The 28-year-old Argentinean striker has become the world’s third most expensive singing. The forward has signed a five-year contract with the Italian Champions worth £6.3m per season.

Higuain was in superb form last season and had a top-flight campaign with Napoli, he scored stunning 36 goals in Seria A. 
Europe’s big clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid showed interest in the Napoli striker, but the Turin based club Juventus has got the man.

 

A statement on juventus.com stated: “Juventus can today confirm it has purchased the registration rights of Gonzalo Higuaín for €90m, payable in two financial years. The player has agreed a five-year contract.”
