Football News: The former Juventus star Paulo Nedved believes two legs against the Spanish champions would definitely give his side a better chance to take revenge from them for the previous year’s defeat in the final.

Real Madrid latest News:  Nedved is optimistic about Juventus’s draw against Madrid in the Champions League Quarterfinal.

Both European giants are drawn against each other on Europe’s biggest stage in the quarterfinal; it sets up a repeat of last season’s final in Cardiff.

Last season on the final Real Madrid Bulldozed the Serie A giants by 4-1 goals at the final, and they are the first Spanish team to win the biggest trophy for the two successive season, but before that, in the year of 2015 Juve came out top against Madrid in the semi-finals.

The former Juve star Nedved believes that the two leg match gives the Seri A giants a better chance to win it against Madrid, though in the first leg they would miss the service of  Medhi Benatia and Miralem Pjanic as both of them are suspended.

The Juventus’s vice president voiced: "I don't think the two teams will be influenced by the result of last season's final,"

"This is a different kind of game, we will play over 180 minutes.

"I think we can cause them trouble even if we know there will be many difficulties for us, including two of our important players being suspended for the first leg."

At this time on their domestic league Real Madrid is 15 points aback than their arch-rivals Barcelona, and now Zidane’s men can solely get their attention on Champions league, but on the other hand Juventus is fighting for the treble in this season, in their domestic league they are fighting with Napoli and also they are into the Coppa Italia finals.

On their club website, former Juve star elucidated: "They will be two good matches and we will meet a team that has won the Champions League two years in a row,"

"Against Paris Saint-Germain, I was impressed [with Madrid]. They are quiet in the league, so their focus is on the Champions League and they will do anything to win it again."
