The Portuguese man Jose Mourinho, who is currently managing the Premier League giant Manchester United has recently revealed that he was very sad, when Zlatan Ibrahimovic left Inter Milan for Barcelona.

The former Swedish international Zlatan Ibrahimovic spent three years at Inter Milan, playing under the Portuguese man Jose Mourinho and the pair won the 2008/09 Serie A together before the 36-year-old left for the Spanish giant FC Barcelona the following summer.
And the Portuguese man Jose Mourinho, who is currently managing the Premier League giant Manchester United since last summer has recently admitted that he was very much hurt by the 36-year-old's departure but insists he never tried to stop him from leaving.
As in an interview Mourinho said, "One day Zlatan decided to go to Barca from Inter,"
"I was very sad, but I did nothing to try to stop him from going."
But now Mourinho re-signed the former Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Manchester United on a free transfer last summer and the former Paris Saint-Germain forward enjoying a great season of Premier League as he has already scored 26 goals for the English giant Manchester United in all competition.
And most importantly a late winner from Ibrahimovic, secured Manchester United’s first major trophy under Jose Mourinho, as they beat Southampton 3-2 in the final of the EFL Cup, On Sunday.
Jose Mourinho also revealed that Manchester United has already offered him a one-year extension, with his current deal due to expire at the end of the season, but Mourinho also admits that he will not beg him to stay.
As Mourinho added, “I never beg for a player to sign a contract, I never beg for a player to play for me,"
"I don’t beg for players but if needed, I think United fans can go to the door of his house and stay there all night if needed.”
"I think they will go for sure. We want, we believe, that he is going to stay with us for one more season.”
