The Northeast based ISL club Northeast United F.C. today strengthened their attack by roping in another Uruguayan striker, as the club official has recently confirmed their new signing of the Uruguayan boy Emiliano Alfaro from the Uruguayan club Liverpool F.C.
Emiliano Alfaro is the second Uruguayan striker to join Northeast United following the 25-years-old Sasha Aneff and become the third foreign striker to join the Highlanders after the Uruguayan and Argentinian Sasha Aneff, Nicolas Velez respectively.
The 28-years-old Alfaro has started his professional career with the Uruguayan club Liverpool F.C. at the age of 18 and also made an appearance for the Uruguay National Football Team alongside Barcelona star forward Luis Suarez and the Paris Saint-Germain’s Edison Cavani.
Alfaro, who has played in Uruguay, Argentina, Italy, Dubai, Thailand is the 9th foreign signing of the John Abraham franchise, including the re-signing of the Argentine and last season’s star forward Nicolas Velez.
The versatile striker well known for his lethal conversion rate, tremendous skills to boast as the club official has recently posted on Facebook, stating that,
