The Mumbai based ISL club Mumbai City F.C. has re-signed their last season’s star forward Sony Norde for the coming season of the Indian Super League.
The Haitian international and Mumbai City F.C.’s forward Sony Norde is very much excited to be back in the Ranbir Kapoor franchise club Mumbai City F.C. and all set to impress the Mumbai fans once again as Norde expressed his happiness in an official video posted by the club.
He said, “I’m very excited to be back in Mumbai City F.C. “
“I cannot wait for this season to start and play in front of all the fans.”
The 27-years-old Norde plays for the I-League club Mohun Bagan and plays an important role for the club, with 22 goals in his 46 appearances.
And then Norde joined the Mumbai City last season where he impressed everyone with his quality performances for the ISL side club with scoring three goals in his 12 appearances and also provided some quality assists, which pleased the club to retain him once again for the ISL 3 and this time he will be playing alongside the Uruguayan and former Manchester United star Diego Forlan.
The club will kick start their Indian Super Season 3 with an away match against FC Pune City on 3rd Oct.
