This season according to the Indian Super League news the Fc Pune City signs the Brazilian attacker Diego Carlos to their squad.

For t he upcoming fourth season of the Indian Super league the Fc Pune City now signed their seventh foreign player.

The forward has played his youth level football with the legendary Brazilian club Flamengo,  the striker has made his senior debut with the Duque de Caxias, 

He also played his football with the Russian club FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod, and in there he has scored 10 goals in his 31 appearances.

After the signing of the player, the Club’s CEO voiced: Diego's game has this rare quality of controlled aggression. His ability to seamlessly shift from being an attacking midfielder to a striker with exceptional ball control skills makes him a potent weapon for our team. Along with Marcelinho, (Jonatan) Lucca he will add the typical Brazilian flair to our team.”

This will be Carlos’s first stint in the Indian Super league and he opined:

“This is the beginning of a new chapter in my football career. I have heard great things about the league as well as FC Pune City. It will be good to play alongside my country-mates Jonatan and Marcelinho. Expect me to give my 100% for the club to ensure the fans have reasons to celebrate.”
