INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE: DELHI DYNAMOS F.C. HAS SIGNED THE BRAZILIAN MIDFIELDER MARCELO LEITE PEREIRA

The Delhi based ISL club Delhi Dynamos F.C. has announced their new signing of the Brazilian midfielder Marcelo Leite Pereira from the Anápolis Futebol Clube on Thursday. 

 

He is joining the ISL club as a winger who can play in both left and right wings.

Marcelo Leite Pereira (Marcelinho) is versatile midfielder, known for his creative activity and for his speed with the ball.

After playing in Spain, Italy, Greece and Brazil now the Brazilian boy is looking forward to boost his ISL side club Delhi Dynamos with his experience and quality of play, as he is the latest foreign addition to the Gianluca Zambrotta’s (new manager of Delhi Dynamos) side.

And the 29-years-old Marcelo admitted that he is looking forward to his new challenge,

As he said, “I am thankful to the club for this new opportunity. It is a new challenge for me and I am looking forward to it. I have heard of ISL a lot and really wanted to come and play in India. I hope to have a great stint with the club and help the club in winning the title,”

After completing the signing, Gianluca Zambrotta (new head coach of the Delhi Dynamos) has admitted that he is expecting some good show of experience from the Brazilian midfielder (joined Delhi Dynamos as a winger) Marcelo,

He Said, “He has played across different leagues in different countries and I am sure his experience will help the team a lot during the season”

The Club’s Chief Technical Officer Mr. Vishnu Madhu has also expressed his happiness of signing the Brazilian midfielder and believes that, Marcelo’s addition to the club squad will be a big boost for the third edition of Indian Super League.

“We are very happy to welcome him into the Delhi Dynamos F.C. family. He has played across the world and his versatility is something which will add depth to our squad. We believe he can be a crucial player for the success of the team.” Mr. Vishnu Madhu said.
