INDIAN FOOTBALL HAS A BRIGHT FUTURE: ABBAS CHAMANIAN

After beating Indian U-16 by 3-0 to secure their subsequent qualification to the quarter finals, the Iran U-16 head coach Abbas Chamanian has admitted that India has a bright future in football and also praised the Indian U-16 team and the head coach Nicolai Adam.

 

Abbas Chamanian stated that the German man Nicolai Adam is the right person to lead the Indian U-16 side and also stated that Indian players are fit and played well but they only need to focus on their basics to develop,

As Abbas Chamanian stated in his post-match press conference that,

“Good choice of coach, the players are fit and play well. They should focus on basics for them to develop. There are so many people in the country and that is an advantage when building. India will have a good future in football for sure.”

Iran U-16 scored their first in the first half and took the lead by 1-0 and then again scored two penalty goals in the second half to defeat the 10 men down Indian U-16 side on Wednesday,

But the Indian boys have not failed to impress the Iran’s head coach with their performance and made him pleased to say that Indian football has a bright future. Abbas Chamanian also praised the Indian FA (All India Football Federation) for organizing this tournament and the works Indian FA done for the team,

Abbas Chamanian said,

"India has a big future in football. I would say well done to the Indian FA (All India Football Federation) for organizing this tournament and in the work they have done for the team,"
