Football News: The Red Devils' skipper Eden Hazard praised Egypt’s performance without their marquee man in a friendly game against Belgium.

I will support Egypt because of Salah: Hazard

Following their friendly match, the Belgium skipper avouches that he will support Egypt at the Showpiece event because of his friend Mo Salah.

Right now the Egyptian stealer Mo Salah is recovering from a shoulder injury which he picked up in the Champions League final against Madrid, and because of that injury, he missed the international friendly against Belgium in Brussels.

Egyptian football team and Egyptian football fans are optimistic that the Premier League Golden Boot winner will take part in the Showpiece event when they play their first match against Uruguay.

In that match Belgium showed their dominance by winning the match 3-0 goals, Lukakau, Hazard, and the Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini were on the scoresheet last night.

Afterwards, the Belgium skipper hopes his friend Salah will take part in the World cup.

Hazard voiced: "Egypt have good players. We managed to take control of the match and scored an early goal which made things easier for ourselves,"

"We are glad about defeating Egypt 3-0. I wish Salah the best and hope he returns. I will support Egypt in the World Cup for him.

"Egypt are so different without Salah but they still performed well with compact lines. Their playing style is close to that of Tunisia.

"I spoke with Salah after the Champions League final and sent him a message, as I said he is my friend and I want to see him in the World Cup."
