I WILL SCORE GOALS FOR BARCELONA: ALCACER

The Spanish forward says that he is not worried for the slow start since moving to Barcelona, and he is confident enough that as soon as he puts the first goal, many more will follow.

The Spanish forward Paco Alcacer is confident enough that he will find hi goal scoring forms soon enough for the Catalans, in the face of a poor start at Camp Nou.

The 23 year old striker has arrived in Barcelona in this transfer window for 25 million from Valencia, but yet he has not put his name on the goal scoring sheet, he has made a four appearance for them.

In last season the Spanish striker has netted 15 goals for Valencia in all the competitions, and he is confident enough that his from in front of goal will return sooner rather than later.

"It's clear that it is complicated to arrive to a top club like Barcelona with unique players," Alacer, who also added that he has no regrets about joining Luis Enrique's side, told.

"All the strikers depend on goals but if I play for Barcelona it is because this club saw something to sign me.

"I will score goals. Last year I also had problems to score my first goal but when I score the first, I will score more.

"My team-mates make my life and training easy and help me a lot. I thank all of them. I can understand that they could be haughty because they're big stars but they are humble.

"Barcelona players can improve each player that plays with them. I based my decision to come here on the hopeful project of Barcelona and it is a big step forward in my career. I took a correct decision."

Barcelona are now  sitting second in the table a point behind of leaders Real Madrid and will face Luis Enrique’s former side Celta Vigo on Sunday.
