The France and Atletico de Madrid star forward have admitted that his main objective is to get as close as possible to the level of the Barcelona and the Real Madrid star Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo respectively.

The France international Griezmann has scored 44 goals in his 75 appearances for Atletico Madrid and also scored 13 goals in his 34 appearances for the France national team.

Recently he helped his national side to reach the final of the UEFA Euro 2016 as he scored six goals for the France and named as a top scorer of the tournament.

And now the star forward expressed that he wants to get close to Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo’s level who are the multiple winner of the Ballon d'Or, the biggest football award.

As he said to the Guardian, "I want to eat at their table,"

"I want to get as close as possible to their level and win titles. My objective is to be among the best."

Griezmann believes that the two times lost in finals can’t stop him to work hard. In fact, he is more determined to win now,

He said, “Two finals where we were so close to our target and close to getting the trophy,"

"It just wasn't the time. But I am not going to stop there. I will keep working to play in a final and win. In fact, I am more determined to win."

And the forward has also revealed the reason behind why he always wears long-sleeved no. 7 jersey,

“I liked David Beckham a lot,"

"He was my idol. That's why I wear a long-sleeved jersey and wear the No. 7." He added.

Lastly the 25-years-old star forward admitted that he is very happy at the Atletico Madrid,

He said, "My teammates, my coach, the outdoors life, my little family are very happy to be there,"

"We live well. Personally, it is a club that can bring titles. I really have no desire to go to another club.

"I want to win titles with Atletico. It's not a personal mission to win La Liga but I want it very badly. We have strong desire to win both La Liga and the Champions League and I am going to give my all to help my team to succeed. This season I hope we will be better more than ever."
