I WANT TO AVOID LEICESTER CITY IN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: GIANLUIGI BUFFON

The Italy international Gianluigi Buffon, who is currently playing for the Italy giant Juventus since 2001 has recently outlined Leicester City as the team to avoid in the Champions League quarter finals.

After a 3-0 aggregate victory over Porto, the Italian giant Juventus has sealed their place in the quarter finals, while the 39-year-old most capped player in the history of the Italian national team with 167 appearances Buffon fears the Premier League champions more than anyone in the next round.

As the England champions Leicester City pulled off another unlikely footballing story by overturning a 2-1 deficit from the first-leg of their last-16 tie against Sevilla to go through 3-2 winners on aggregate at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday.

As the goals from Captain Wes Morgan and Marc Albrighton were enough to earn a 2-0 win on Tuesday night, which means Leicester City has joined FC Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Juventus in the last eight.

And the Juventus shot stopper Gianluigi Buffon has recently admitted Leicester City as the team to avoid in the Champions League quarter finals.

He said, "Who do I prefer not to play? Leicester, because they are a dangerous and passionate team who can cause trouble for opponents who take the initiative,"

"Against them, we would have everything to lose."
