Manchester United’s all time record goal scorer has not started a Premier League game since Dec. 17 and struggled to show his best football in the current term, despite passing Sir Bobby Charlton as United's all-time top scorer.
And the previous report says that the England international and Manchester United’s captain could leave the Old Trafford for the Chinese Super League against Jose Mourinho's wishes.
But recently the 31-year-old Red Devils captain Wayne Rooney himself has addressed speculation about his future by releasing the following statement.
As he said, “Despite the interest which has been shown from other clubs, for which I’m grateful, I want to end recent speculation and say that I am staying at Manchester United,"
“I hope I will play a full part in helping the team in its fight for success on four fronts.”
“It’s an exciting time at the club and I want to remain a part of it.”
