The Spain international and FC Barcelona’s star midfielder Andrés Iniesta has recently admitted that he has already decided to end up his footballing career with the Spanish giant and also stated that his ex-Barcelona and current Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola knows everything about him, what he think, what he wants as Manchester City are showing their interest to take him to the Etihad Stadium.
And also insist that Guardiola could not take him away from the Camp Nou but only if Barcelona extend his contract which expires in 2018.
As the City’s new boss Pep Guardiola, who won numbers of trophies during his managerial time at Barcelona along with the Spanish man Iniesta, showing his interest to take Iniesta to the City’s squad,
But the 32-years-old Andrés Iniesta, who has spent his entire career with the La Liga champions, winning eight La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies has recently stated his desire to ending his career at the Camp Nou and even his ex-Barcelona coach Pep Guadiola cannot persuade him to quit Barcelona,
As Iniasta said,
“Guardiola knows what I think, what I want, and my desire is ending my career here, like I've said many times,"
"I'm very clear about what I say and what I think, everybody knows it.”
But the Barcelona’s all-time best midfielder Andrés Iniesta, who set a new assist record in La Liga on Wednesday also admitted that he have contract with FC Barcelona until 2018 and is yet to be offered an extension beyond his current contract, which will take him all the way to the date he will end up his footballing career,
Iniesta stated,
"I would love to end my career at Barcelona. I have a contract until 2018. We will have to ask the directors whether they want to extend my contract.”
"But I can only repeat that I want to retire at Barcelona." He concluded.
