GIANLUCA ZAMBROTTA – DELHI DYNAMOS NEEDS TO CLOSE MATCHES EARLIER

Defending ISL champions Chennaiyin FC lost their match against Delhi Dynamos in their home ground,but the Italian coach wants to focus his team for the next game.

It was a reprisal of the Derby della Madonnia, tough from the sidelines of the ISL season 3,the 39 year old Gianluca Zambrotta’s team flowed victorious 3-1 over 43 year old Marco Materazzi's Chennaiyin FC on Thursday.

In  clash of the Italian giants the new debutant coach defeat his counterpart,they have manage to beaten the defending champions on their own home soil.

"The win has made me happy but we also have to think that we’ve just started the league and from tomorrow we have to think about the next match. I’m happy for tonight but tomorrow we start a new adventure,” descant Zambrotta.

During the game the former AC Milan defender was jumping and expressing out of his frustration when the Delhi Dynamos players did not follow his instruction, he also celebrates the goal that his team has scored.

"At the start I was calm but I am a man of emotion and unfortunately I cannot play. So that is my way to tell the right position of the players on the pitch. It is a combined effort, all the players, coaches and staff have done a good job," pat came the reply from the former Juventus full-back.

The 29 year old Brazilian winger Marcelinho netted two goals in the first half for them,one form a spot kick and another with his left footed strike, then the  24 year old Senegalese make it 3-1 and sealed the victory for them.

"The first 15 minutes were hard for us because they set their team tactically stronger than ours. We started to play like we do after that. We also learnt that we have to close matches earlier and not wait for the end," Zambrotta zeroed on the need to see the games out.
