GARETH BALE SAYS GAME AGAINST GEORGIA IS A “MASSIVE” GAME

Gareth Bale says Wales have to start strong in Sunday’s World Cup Qualifier against Georgia.

The Real Madrid superstar believes Sunday’s World Cup Qualifier will be another massive game for his country Wales, and they have to be at their best if they want to qualify for 2018 World cup in Russia.

"I think it is another big game," said the Bale. "It is the old cliche again of we are taking it one game at a time, but that is the way we have been approaching things in the past, and that is how we will continue to do it.

"It is a massive game for us tomorrow and our home form is going to be key to us qualifying.

"I think today is the main day when we will really sit down and look at the opposition so I can't comment too much at the moment, because I don't know too much.

"But I have seen their results in the past and they have had very good results – they beat Spain [in a pre-Euro 2016 friendly], and I don't think they deserved to lose against Ireland [in a World Cup qualifier last week] from what I hear.

"I am sure it is going to be a difficult game tomorrow and one we need to prepare for right.

"It was a difficult game in Vienna [a 2-2 draw with Austria ], a hard-earned point, and obviously we have to make sure we are recovered and ready for tomorrow with no excuses."

Wales took four points from their first two World Cup Qualifiers and currently tied in points with Austria, Serbia and the Republic of Ireland in Group D.

"No, it is just the same," he said. "We are a unit, a team, we keep working together, no matter who is injured.

"No matter who the team is, we will be concentrating on ourselves and trying to get that victory.

"Teams are paying us a lot more respect, so it is difficult to get that space and create opportunities. But I think we are slowly learning how to do it.
