The Belgium international Kevin De Bruyne was grumpy with the pitch against Bosnia Herzegovina and says that he got scared to pick up an injury.
The Manchester City man was very grumpy and slammed the pitch after Belgium host Bosnia Herzegovina in their home ground for World cup qualifying match.
In Grbavica the Belgium side finally managed to win that match against Bosnia by 4-3 goals, the Atletico Madrid man Yannick Carrasco scored the winning goal for them.
But De Bruyne was not happy with the Pitch state last night he says the pitch was bumpy and it create problems to both the teams.
De Bruyne elucidated: "I was worried I'd get injured,"
"This was unacceptable. I don't understand how we could play on such a pitch.
"Last time I played on such a bad pitch was when I was a seven-year-old kid."
Not only De Bruyne raised his volume against the Surface the Belgium manager Roberto Martinez also was not happy with the surface after their midfielder Fellaini picked up an injury in that match.
The Belgium manager added: "The pitch in Sarajevo was below any acceptable level! It was impossible to play any tactics,"
"Our team spirit won the game, not any tactics. Fellaini injury changed our play, we lost focus, but after that showed amazing character and never gave up. We scored 4 goals and could have scored 4 more."
With that win over Bosnia, Belgium is now nine points clear from the second spot team and sits to the zenith position of Group H.
