Last night Gunners book their place in the last 16 of the Europa league despite that the Gunners midfielder Jack Wilshere knows they were nowhere near it last night against their counterpart.

Jack Wilshere thinks the London side were guilty of underestimating their Swedish opponent in their Europa league encounter, last night they were filtered with an embarrassing exit from the tournament.

In the second fixture, Arsenal side appeared to be in a complete control after they smashed their opponents by 3-0 goals in their own backyard, and that gave them a comfortable cushion ahead of their return fixture at the Emirates.

But however last night the Swedish side struck two goals in the space of just 70 seconds at Emirates and that put the tie in the balance.

While the newly joined Arsenal man Sead Kolasinac scored a wonderful goal for the Gunners and that stop the visitors from an anecdotic comeback at Emirates.the Englishman Jack Wilshere knows that his side put up a below-par performance against the Swedish side prior their Carabao cup final against Manchester City.

He voiced: "We were nowhere near it, especially in the first half,"

"We weren't good enough. To be honest, we did improve in the second half but it still wasn't good enough.

"We're through and that's all that counts, so we will see who we get in the draw. We have a big game to come on Sunday too, so we can focus on that.

"But when you're 3-0 up in a two-legged tie you still have to go again — it was only half-time. Maybe we underestimated them a little bit, but the main thing is we're through."

Despite they bite the dust last night by 2-1 goals they go through to the next round with 4-2 aggregate.
