Arsene Wenger says last night his side defended well against Liverpool despite conceding three goals in the mouthwatering fixture.
Last night Roberto Firmino’s equalizer gave Liverpool one crucial point against Arsenal in a 3-3 draw, Yesterday night Arsenal were 2-0 down against Liverpool in their home turf but they managed to boomerang the situation against the Visitors and took a 3-2 lead against Liverpool.
Alexis Sanchez, Granit Xhaka, and Mesut Ozil scored the goals for Arsenal in the Fanatic period and that change the game in their favor but the Brazilian salvaged one crucial point from Liverpool.
Question asked Wenger he could have used the tactic of parking the bus when they were 3-2 up against Liverpool,
Wenger said: "I don't know what you mean by park the bus – we defended well but with that quality they could always score.
"They have quality everywhere going forward.
"Credit to players, we didn't show any weakness – I'm frustrated we couldn't keep it 3-2 but it was a fantastic game with quality on both sides. We had quick combos, they had fantastic counter attacks."
Last night the English international Jack Wilshere made his third consecutive start of the season for the Gunners since October 2014 and displayed wonderful football for them.
