 In the recent past, the German midfielder Mesut Ozil inked a new deal with the Gunners for three and Half Years and ends his saga over his future at the club.

Mesut Ozil is tied up with the Gunners until 2021 and now he will earn £350,000 a week, and that makes him the highest earning player in the club.

The German International’s previous contract about to end in the end of this season and speculations were there about his future whether he will stay at Arsenal or not, but Ozil ends that saga by signing a new deal with them.

Earlier this season Ozil has been linked with the Manchester United, who signed his Arsenal team-mate Alexis Sanchez in exchange with Mkhitaryan,

 In the year of 2013 Ozil joined Arsenal from Real Madrid and this season so far he has scored 4 goals for them in his 21 appearances,

After his contract extension, the German twitted:

"Proud to announce: I signed dat thing….three more years with Arsenal!

"It's been one of the most important decisions of my footballing career and that's why I had to think hard and talk with everyone who's important to me…good things take time!

"In the end I let my heart decide.
