The Italian gaffer Venture maybe failed to take Italy to the world cup but he insists that he not fail as a coach for the Azzurri side.
Giampiero Ventura avouches that he had some of the best results with the Italian side as a manager though his team fails to qualify for the World cup 2018.
Italy will not take part in the next year’s world cup because of their 1-0 loss to Sweden on aggregate, and this is the first time for the Azzurri side since 1958 world cup.
Italy appointed Venture as their head coach in 2016 June and in his tenure with the Italian side he has won 10 games with his lads and also drawn four games and lost three.
In an interview, Ventura said: "Without Italy it will be an ugly World Cup, but unfortunately it is gone. What can I do?"
"I apologised to the Italians for the result.
"I still had some of the best results of the last 40 years. I lost just two [sic] games."
