Ivan Bukenya the former Kaizer Chiefs player play as a central defender and he also can play as a defensive midfielder.

The 25 year old Ugandan professional has a desirable resume to show off, and that’s why the East Bengal FC picked him for this season.

Back in 2012 with his former side Arbil SC he played the AFC club final, and he also won the Iraqi league next season with him former club, after that he move to South Africa for Kaizer Chiefs and then he also got selected in his national squad.

The Kolkata giants also released their British defender Calum Angus, during Bordoloi Trophy he was hospitalized for Dengue.

This is the Red and gold’s second foreign player signing in this season, first they signed the Haitian Striker Wedson Anselme,and then Ivan to strengthen their squad for the I league.

I LEAGUE will start form 7th January,2017.
