DISCARDING ARSENAL WAS SIMPLE DECIDING FOR ME: JAMIE VARDY

The striker revealed he never was willing to nor came even close to join Arsenal F.C. because he has a strong faith that he haven’t winded up with everything at  Leicester City, while he feels Riyad Mahrez to stay at the club.

The striker of the Foxes Jamie Vardy has lime lighted that refusing a move to Gunners was simple decision for him, saying a transfer was never on his way.

The English national player seemed to come across to join Arsenal after they provoked his release clause, but Vardy has signed a new contract with Leicester instead.

The 29-year-old drew some focus and powered up his statement saying that his firm staying at the Premier League champions was a very simple decision to make.

"There's a lot of unfinished business here. I feel that the club is only going one way and that is forward, that's why I want to be a part of it."
Vardy also feels Riyad Mahrez, who has been very determined with a move away this summer,

"I think everyone in the squad would want him here, playing with us," Vardy added.

"But that's nothing to do with us and it's down to Riyad and the club to sort.”
