CRISTIANO RONALDO NAMED AS THE EUROPE BEST PLAYER

Real Madrid and Portuguese superstar forward Cristiano Ronaldo has beaten Gareth Bale and Antoine Griezmann to the race to the UEFA Best Player.

 

Cristiano Ronaldo has been name the Europe best player for the second time after his glorious perform with club and Country.

 

The superstar forward helped Real Madrid to lift their 11th UEFA Champions League trophy and also displayed amazing performance in EURO 2016 and take Portugal all the way to win their first ever major trophy.

Cristiano Ronaldo himself admitted in an interview that probably the last season is one of his best season in his career, where he won his first major trophy with his national side as they won the UEFA Euro 2016 final by defeating the host team France, where he scored three goals and provided 2 assists in his seven appearances, but unluckily he got injured in the final and still under the recovery.

 

The 31-years-old striker Ronaldo has scored 35 goals and 11 assists in his 36 appearances for the club and led the club to finish 2nd in the league last season.

 

Ronaldo scored 16 goals and provide four assists in his 12 Champions League appearances and helped the Spanish giant Real Madrid to lift the last season’s Champions League trophy.

 

The 31-year-old Portuguese star won the Europe Best Player Award for the second time in his career.
