The 19 year old PSG star has been named as a potential successor of Ronaldo 7 at Real Madrid, but this season the wonder kid wants to outshine his idol.
The 19 year old French star Kylian Mbappe avouches that Cristiano Ronaldo was his childhood hero, but not now.
This season Mbappe has the chance to join his childhood star Ronaldo 7 but he snubbed the opportunity and joined his boyhood club PSG on a loan this season and they can seal his deal after the end of this season with €180 million.
The French man has displayed scintillating performance for Moncao last season and also this season he has made an impact on the Europe with his eminent skills for PSG,
Because of his performance everyone named him the possible successor of the five time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo 7 at Madrid,
But now both the players will face each other in the Champions league, when Real Madrid will take on PSG in the round of 16 draw, and Kylian Mbappe wants to outshine his childhood hero in that match.
In an interview Mbappe voiced: "He is a hero from my childhood and it was amazing to meet him when I visited Valdebebas,"
"But I am a competitor and a person who is very competitive and all I want to do is win, win, win. So it doesn't really matter who is in front of us, we want to win."
"I admired him when I was younger, but that ended. Now I go to the Bernabeu to play and to win.
"From someone who has won five Ballons d'Or you can learn a lot. He's a great player, but I have those here too. Neymar is here and I think he is very similar and is at practically the same level as Cristiano Ronaldo. I learn from [Edinson] Cavani as a goalscorer too."
