CONFIRMED: CAMERON WATSON PLACED IN BENGALURU FC

I-League: Cameron Watson, the Australian midfielder signed in Bengaluru FC

The 29-year midfielder joined the club and became the new Boss. He signed for the coming session of I-League of 2016-17 as Albert Roca’s first signing. Watson comes from the A-Side, New Castle Jets. The Australian midfielder is a type of player who can nourish the team and help the club to gain a number of games and the position he plays in is one of the most important ones, belives Roca.

“Cameron is a good player in a position that’s very important to the team. He has a good background playing in Australia which I think is an impressive league in terms of standard and his presence would help us grow,” said Roca.

“I’ve spoken to a few people and heard good things about the League. I’ve even had a word with former Bengaluru player Sean Rooney who had a lot of nice things to say about the club and I’m really looking forward to joining the team as soon as possible. I’ve been training with a local club here and keeping as fit as possible. There’s a big AFC Cup game coming up and the sooner I get there, the better,” the former Barcelona assistant coach added.

Watson disclosed the matter that he joined Bengaluru FC as he was advocated by former striker Sean Rooney.
