The 46 year old former English footballer believes that the Manchester United man and the English striker Wayne Rooney have had a decade that can be compared with the beasts among the world.
The former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore thinks that only Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have had a better footballing career than Rooney.
The 31 year old Manchester United man scored his 250th goal against the Stock city in the Premier league and previously he had broken Sir Bobby Charlton's record to become the Country’s top scorer.
Back in 2004 the English man moved to the Manchester United club from Everton and since then he had won five EPL titles with them and also Champions league back in 2007-2008 season.
The Ex Liverpool man believes that what the 31 year old had earned in his footballing career that makes him one of the best football players in the footballing domain.
In an interview the Ex Liverpool man said: "If you take out the big two, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, he has had as good a career as anybody in the world over the last decade,"
"You don’t break Sir Bobby Charlton’s England or Manchester United’s goal records without being something very special.
"So huge congratulations to Wayne Rooney for achieving both, for a fantastic career that has seen him win virtually every trophy."
In Euro 2004 he was there in the team of the tournament and after that he has played several major trophies for them, but did not manage to have an impact over there and in his playing time England was unable to go beyond than Quater – finals.
Collymore added: "It is a little disappointing that we couldn’t see him at his best for England in terms of winning trophies or getting to finals and semi-finals,"
