The 22-year-old French youngster has joined the Chelsea side from the Monaco side and with that, he becomes the second highest expensive signing of Chelsea.
There were rumors are lurking that the Serbian midfielder of Chelsea Matic will leave the club in this transfer window and as a replacement for him, they signed the youngster from Monaco.
Bakayoko has signed a five year deal with the Chelsea side and he will be playing side by side with his national team mate N'Golo Kante.
After joining the Blues side the French youngster elucidated: "I have grown up watching Chelsea. The signing was the natural thing for me because it is a club I loved very much in my childhood.
"I am now looking forward to evolving under this fantastic coach (Antonio Conte) and alongside so many great team-mates."
Bakayoko becomes Chelsea’s third signing of this summer transfer window, before him, they bucket Argentine goalkeeper Willy Caballero from Manchester City and the German defender from Roma Antonio Rudiger.
Chelsea is also in a search for a new striker in place of Diego Costa.
