In last night Manchester United travel to the Stamford Bridge to face Jose Mourinho’s old club, in that match Chelsea thrashed the away side by 4-0,they were dominating the away team from the first minute to the last minute.
Within 30 seconds the Blues have scored the first goal in the match, thanks to the Spaniard Pedro, after that the defender who captained Chelsea last night scored the second goal for the home side with a close range goal.
In the second half the Belgium international Eden Hazard and the French man Kante sealed the deal for the home side by scoring two more goals for the home side, Conte’s side now won three back to back matches in the premier league, and they scored nine goals in their last three matches.
Cahill captaining the Blues last night instead of John Terry who miss the match due to injury, was pleased to see how his team put a performance against Manchester United.
"Winning the game is the most important thing but the performance today was fantastic," Cahill told.
"We dominated from the first minute to the last and it was a really impressive performance from us.
"I couldn't miss from there," Cahill added, speaking about his strike. "I'm delighted to get a goal. It was a decent moment in the game.
"The performance that went with the three points was the most pleasing thing."
"It gives [us] a lot of confidence, we start well. We deserved to win. We dominated the game from the first minute to the end. For the fans, for us, it's a great afternoon," he said.
"It's a big game and we lost two big games this season against Liverpool and Arsenal and for the fans that means a lot.
"Today I did well, the whole team did well. In football the most important thing is three points. We have a lot of confidence now we have won three games in a row."
